Professional Eye Examinations

Our comprehensive visual examinations are performed by Dr. Ryan and Dr. Sandberg with assistance from our staff. They place great importance on doing a thorough examination to enable our patients to maintain a consistent quality of life.

Our examinations include the following:

Patient and family medical and visual history.
Retinal photos on all adults and children as needed.
Neurological mapping of the back of the eyes (visual fields).
Diagnostic evaluation of the exterior and interior health of each eye.
Detection of eye disease.

- Cataract check and monitoring
- Retinal abnormalities
- Macular degeneration
- Infections/Allergies
- Abrasion/Injury
Analysis of the eye muscle coordination in relation to near point tasks such as reading and computer work.
Determination of spectacle lenses or contact lenses are required to correct distance or near vision.
Additional tests for children who may be struggling with reading skills.
Consultation to review the results of the examination to recommend the eyecare options that are best suited for the individual patient's lifestyle and informing the patient of good health practices and overall wellness.
